Ethereal Aromas Incense Co. original blend

You will receive approximately 5 grams of resin-based incense housed in an aluminum jar.

*** Blend description ***
The Angelsmoke blend was inspired by various old world incense recipes. It is the opposite twin to the even more obscure Devilsmoke from ages passed. This blend contain Royal Sacra Frankincense, Sandalwood, Orris, Storax, Rose and other raw ingredients and essential oils.

This blend has taken years to finally harden to a mostly solid state. It is small, broken, semi-brittle resin pieces in form. This incense performs excellently with the traditional charcoal method as well as on an electric incense heater. It has aged quite remarkably.

All recipes are custom creations found no where else!

*** Using Natural Incense ***
CHARCOAL: Use a heat resistant dish such as one made from metal or ceramic, preferably 5 inches or larger in diameter and at least 2 incense deep. Fill about 1 inch from bottom of dish with sand or ash. Light a combustible hookah-style charcoal. Always use tongs or pliers to hold the coal when lighting. It is best to light the coal outside or hold under a stove-top vent. Once hot, place charcoal in prepared dish. Start by placing a small amount of incense upon the hot coal at first. We recommend no more than half a pea size at a time from indoor use. Larger amounts of resin often produce an unexpected amount of smoke, perfect for use outdoors or in large halls. RECOMMENDED QUANTITY: For small rooms use 1/4 to 1/2 incense ball to start with. Medium to large rooms use 1/2 to 1 full incense ball. Refresh as needed.

NOTE: By placing a cupped piece of foil on top of the hot charcoal, you can maintain better control over the incense. Place the incense within the foil. You can then remove the foil with tongs or pliers once the desired saturation of aroma is achieved or once the incense begins to give off the characteristic burnt smell at the end.

ELECTRIC HEATING: Some resin produces an excellent clear aroma with very little smoke when heated on a hot plate or electric incense burner. It helps to crush the resin into small pieces or powder when using this method. RECOMMENDED QUANTITY: For small rooms use 1 incense ball to start with with thermostat control set about middle way. Medium rooms 1 to 2 incense balls with the thermostat control set to medium or high. The electric warmer is not intended for extremely large spaces, but it does work with larger amounts of incense with the thermostat control set to its highest setting. Allow for 15 minutes or more for the aroma to saturate smaller spaces if used at a low setting.

NOTE: What we like most about using The Golden Lotus electric heater is that it heats the incense to where it evaporates the essential oils. This method produces very little if any smoke and lends itself to a much cleaner and complex aroma and well as being useful in therapeutic applications.

Other traditional methods such as the Japanese Makko burning method use combustible wood powder in place of hot charcoal. Other options include heating upon a hot plate or stove top skillet on warm.
